The Kit

So far I have accumulated some parts including a JDM B16, ACT light weight flywheel, an LS 5th gear to keep the Rs down with my 10 inch wheels and some small stuff.  I also bought a modified sub frame to mount the B16 in the mini and it came with a nice header which I will have ceramic coated soon.  Here are some pics of the goods.

  3. Hi Danny
I bought the "kit" from Steve Alexander in California. He takes your (or a doner car) mini subframe and cuts off the front, welds on the new front to support the B series engine and stock suspension. Also needed is the custom radiator, modified pedal box and header.
Wiring is a challenge so go with Steve's plug n play harness.
The only other real mods are to cut the inner fender skirts and use a larger fuel line and pump.
I did it all in my garage but it was a very big job, well it was more like 100 little jobs!
Total cost was about 9k to do the swap in my Mini with me doing almost all the work.
    Good luck!
